Digitize the World: the LUM360 entity flies along a causeway over a turquoise Cancún sea at sunset

LUM360 Lab Experiment 001 Build 002

Digitize the World Capture the World

Fly over a Mexican Caribbean destination and turn it, capture by capture, into a digital experience.

  • 2+ min
  • 3 lives
  • 4 destinations
  • Desktop + touch

DifficultyA new destination every flight

Few blind spots, a wide route and rings that help you line up.

Nothing to install · 157 KB at takeoff

You move forward automatically: move the cursor, drag your finger or use the arrow keys. Follow the golden orbs, fly through all five rings and avoid the blind spots.

This browser doesn't have the 3D acceleration (WebGL 2) the experience needs. You can open it on another device or keep exploring what LUM360 does.

How to play

How to play

What we do every day, in one flight.

Digitize the World is an interactive experience created by LUM360 to show what we do on every project: take a physical space and turn it into something you can tour, understand and share from any screen.

You pilot an entity built from the LUM360 logo mark. It moves forward on its own; you decide where. Each time you fly through a capture point, the area around you stops being a dimmed grid and appears complete: materials, water, vegetation and light.

What you see as you fly

  1. Lives and points. Three logo marks: each crash turns one off.
  2. Captures. Five dots that fill in with each ring.
  3. Sound, full screen and pause.
  4. Destination, difficulty and time of the flight.
  5. Route. How far you've come and which capture is next.
  1. You choose the line

The entity moves forward on its own. Move the cursor, drag with one finger or use the arrow keys to go left, right, up or down.

  2. Follow the golden orbs

They always mark a clear path. Each one adds points, and if you chain them together, you gain a little speed.

  3. Fly through all five rings

Each ring digitizes the area around you. Passing through the center scores more points.

  4. Dodge the blind spots

Dark volumes with a red grid that block the signal. You have three lives: after three crashes, the flight ends at “Signal lost.”

Desktop
Move the cursor or use WASD and the arrow keys.
Touch
Drag with one finger, anywhere on the screen.
Shortcuts
Esc or P pause · M sound · F full screen

Real services

Five captures, five ways to showcase a space.

Each capture point corresponds to a real LUM360 service and carries the equipment used for that work. The final portal brings them together in a single digital asset.

Difficulty levels

More speed, less margin, the same rule.

At any difficulty, the line of golden orbs is a crash-free route. What changes is how hard it is to follow: the speed, how many blind spots there are, how narrow the gap is and how much help the rings give you.

Explorer: an open causeway over the sea, with a single blind spot far ahead

How scoring works

  • 800 for each ring you fly through
  • up to 400 for the accuracy of each ring
  • 20 for each golden orb
  • 1,000 for crossing the final portal
  • 500 for each life you have left at the finish

The total is multiplied by the difficulty, so a score can only be compared with another score on the same difficulty. When you finish, you get a rank: Complete, Precise or Master Capture.

Destinations

Four places in Quintana Roo, a different flight every time.

Each flight lands in a different destination than the last. The architecture stays the same; the stone, wood, sea, sunset sky and light change. Every image is a real frame from the game.

  • Cancún: path over a turquoise sea under a golden sunset

    Cancún

    Turquoise sea and golden sunset

  • Tulum: path over a green sea under a pink sky

    Tulum

    Limestone, jungle and pink sky

  • Playa del Carmen: islands with white houses under a coral sunset

    Playa del Carmen

    White facades and coral sunset

  • Bacalar: blue lagoon under a lilac sky

    Bacalar

Lagoon of seven blues and lilac sky

Link challenges

Challenge someone to your exact flight.

When you finish, you can share a link with your score. Whoever opens it flies exactly your flight: the same destination, the same route, the same obstacles and the same difficulty.

  1. 1 Fly, then tap “Challenge someone.”
  2. 2 Share the link or copy it.
  3. 3 Your friend opens it and tries to beat your score.

Your score travels in the link and is calculated in your browser: it's a game between people, not a verified leaderboard.

Try a challenge

What a challenge looks like

?reto=K7M2Q-2-17940-D

Seed
Defines the destination, route, rings, orbs and obstacles. In the example, Playa del Carmen.
Difficulty
1 Explorer, 2 Pilot, 3 Master.
Score
The score to beat.
Check
A character that helps catch incorrectly copied links. It's not a security signature.

How it's built

An entire world built in your browser.

It runs on WebGL and Three.js, with nothing to install. The architecture is procedural: no models or photos are downloaded, and the world is built on your device in a few seconds. Sound is synthesized in real time and graphics quality adjusts automatically to keep motion smooth on phones and computers.

  • 157 KB

The compressed 3D engine. It downloads only when you tap “Play now.”

  • 0

Models, textures or audio files downloaded: everything is generated on the spot.

  • 3

Graphics quality profiles that switch automatically to keep things smooth.

  • WebGL 2

No extensions or plugins. If your browser doesn't have it, the page explains.

Controls
Cursor, one-handed touch drag or keyboard (WASD and arrow keys). Esc or P pauses, M mutes, F toggles full screen.
Duration
Between two and two and a half minutes, depending on difficulty. Flying again reloads nothing.
Accessibility
Respects the reduced-motion preference, can be played without a mouse and sound is optional.
Privacy
Your best score for each difficulty is saved only on this device. None of it leaves your browser.

For your project

Digital experiences for your space.
